Unprotected

For documents without protection, the add-in can perform all standard functions.

Already Signed

Documents added to QAction without signatures that are subsequently checked out, signed, and checked back in will behave identically to unprotected documents.

Encrypted

Encrypted documents require a password to enable editing. As a result, the add-in cannot perform PDF manipulations beyond uploading the document to QAction.

Locked

Locked documents have been certified with the “No Changes Allowed” setting applied. This configuration prevents the add-in from making any modifications to the document.

Restricted

Restricted documents require a password to open. If a user attempts to upload a restricted document via the browser, an error message will be displayed.
