Assigning and Administering Tasks
Managers with assign task privileges can designate tasks to any organization or user, regardless of whether they belong to that organization or were initially assigned the task.
Locating Pending Tasks on the Assign Tasks Tab
1. In the left navigation pane, select Inbox, then navigate to the Assign Tasks tab.
2. Enter or select a value in the Folder Type field.
3. Confirm that the Show Inboxes For field is visible on the search screen.
4. In the Show Inboxes For field, enter the name of the employee or organization, then click Search.
5. Review the list of pending tasks for the selected employee or organization.
6. Select a pending task and open its Action menu.
Assigning Tasks to a User
To reassign a task to another user, choose Assign to User or Reassign to Another User from the task’s Action menu. The Assign to User window will appear. Select an available user from the drop-down list and click Save.
