Understanding the Disposition Date

The Disposition Date for a record indicates when the record becomes eligible for disposition.

QFlow’s system utilizes the Disposition Date to automatically initiate Disposition Approval Workflows for records whose Disposition Date has passed. This date is systematically determined based on three factors: Retention Period Start Date, Retention Period Cutoff, and Retention Period. The system recalculates the Disposition Date whenever the Retention Period Start Date is set or modified.
