Understanding Search Filters

Search filters help customize searches by specifying exactly what and where to search. For example searching for documents by date requires selecting specific date type (Date Stored vs Date Received).

Search filters are found in a drop-down menu with expandable groups. Filters can be added cleared or removed from a search.

Custom objects can be used as search filters with options to search the object itself or its sub-fields.
