List of Values Maintenance
A List of Values (LOV) is an index field with a defined set of selectable options configured by an administrator. These values are managed centrally within the Administration > List of Values screen, where administrators can create, modify, archive, or delete entries as needed. Users must choose from the available options and cannot enter values manually, ensuring data consistency and compliance with organizational standards. Archiving an entry preserves its historical record while removing it from future selection, whereas deletion permanently eliminates the entry from the system.
